I am looking to buy an xbox 360 slim. I see Best buy has a 250 gb for $300. Anyone know anywhere having sales? Also, is it smart to buy this xbox? I heard a new one is coming out in a year or two. Will the price of the xbox 360 slim drop somewhat? Any advice is helpful. Thanks.
My new xbox 360 just turned off by itself in the middle of the game?
it's only been like 4 days since I got my new limited edition mw3 xbox and today while I was playing dead space 2 my xbox just turned off. so I tried to turn it on again but the xbox just goes to the loading screen and dies again. the power supply also has a red orange light now. What should I do now? I originally had to replace the power supply when I first got the console because the US power supply doesn't work where I live so it's also brand new. Milk84yes I actually imported it and the power supply that came with the console did blow up twice which is why I had to buy a new one from my local gaming store and the console worked perfectly after using the right power supply however I did keep my xbox plugged in just like Chriso did maybe that's what caused the problem.
Can you play on driver parallel lines for normal xbox on the new xbox 360 ?

So I just bought a used Xbox 360 S 250GB HD from a private seller. He has a gold account with 560 points that is still on there, along with another a friends I guess , that expire on 6 6 12. I made a profile but some of the options are not available in the settings menu, like accounts and privacy. I was needing to know how to make it mine, so to speak, and get rid of those old accounts. I asked him to call and cancel his account, but that has yet to happen, and I also restored the machine to factory defaults.Second, what is the " most" private was to make a live gold account? I am big on privacy and do like to give away my personal information. No Facebook, etc., EVER Would it be best for me to buy one of those cards from a retail store? I just want to watch Netflix without telling Microsoft my blood type, whilst their Kinect camera is watching my living room. And I though Windoze was bad with their " user data files" that save as much personal information to your computer HD as possible.Thanks.

I'me deciding between the turtle beach xp500 and the astro a40 wireless. They are both on sale on amazon.com for $220 so i'll be getting it from there. I had the turtle beach x11 but the wire that went from the headset to the controller got annoying and i hear that the a40 wireless isnt truly wireless... But, I heard the a40 also beats the xp500 in sound so idk what to do. If I get the xp500 I may also buy some rechargeable batteries so do they work with the a40 too? Please give me all the ups and downs u got and why u think i should get what u said.

New xbox but with old hard drive?
I'm wondering about getting a new xbox but i want to use my old hard drive. Will this work and keep my gamer tag and all the stuff that's on there? kobe does this mean my gamertag will work on a new xbox with the old hard drive in the new xbox?Guys i dont want to but the new xbox 360 i just want the older version like the arcade or something like that. will i still have to buy that case thing. New xbox games on an old 360 system?
Ok. Here's the deal. I have one of the red, resident evil xbox 360's. I've noticed that when I play a new game such as The Witcher 2 or Skyrim, it takes me several tries to even get them to load. I can play them once they load, but when I turn them off, I get the aforementioned problem. Is this a drive issue, or do I need to buy a new 360?
