Why does it say i need an xbox 360 hard drive to play original xbox games, but i already have a 4g?
so i bought the Simpson's hit and run for xbox 360. but the game itself is for xbox. it says you need to attach an xbox 360 hard drive to play original xbox games. problem is i already have a 4G one. i think. when i got it in the box it said it was a 4G xbox. has anyone had this problem? and if so, how did you solve it?

I downloaded an original Xbox game from the marketplace and tried to play it. But it said " Please install an xbox 360 hard drive to play this game." I paid 20 dollars for the game and there are no refunds. I dont want to pay 75 dollars for a hard drive just to play a game. what do i do? I have the 4GB xbox slim. HELP
Disc not reading on original xbox 360?
ok so i put black ops in my xbox 360 and it said reading then open tray this happened with every disc i put in so i thought it was the laser diode and replaced the whole disk reader drive tried again it did the same so i opened it and saw that the laser diodes do work on both drives ad i replaced it with a 3rd drive same problem whats going on and how can i fix it ??

Okay, I was at a friends house years ago and we were playing a game on an xbox not a 360 and I want to know what that game was.all I remember was that you used crystals to upgrade weapons they gave them special abilities, I remember one sucked health from the enemy and gave it to you and that at one point you were in a mansion doing something with a piano, and I think after that you fought a huge boss. also It had Co op.lol sorry for being so brief but that is all I know.
Need help installing new HDD in Original Xbox?
Can someone please tell me what i can do to get this to work. My old original xbox hdd has died and i have the HDD backed up to my laptop EEPROM.BIN HDD KEY DASHBOARD ETC.. The problem is that i dont have an old IDE PC that i can hook a new HDD up to format the new one with XBOXHDM. My question is there any way that i can Format the new HDD from my laptop externally so it will work in the Original XBOX 1. I understand the HDD needs to be Formatted into FATX and LOCKED but i have no way of doing this since i have no old IDE DESKTOP COMPUTER. I have an External IDE HDD ENCLOSURE that i can hook the drive up to the laptop and some how format it from the laptop if thats possible. What can i do? HELP

Xbox 360 won't play original Xbox games?
I got a 4Gb Xbox 360 Slim for christmas, and it said i needed a hard drive to play original Xbox games, so I bought a 320 Gb Hard drive, and now when I try to play an original Xbox game it just says its unrecoginized and that I might need to re download it, what do I do? And I checked to see if my games a compatible with the 360, and they are, so its not that, and my games arent damaged at all, they work perfectly on my original xbox. Please help
