Okay , so I bought a new xbox 360 s modified which was running all the games before. Then I saw this update option that kept popping up. I updated the xbox 360 s to the new dashboard. It's really cool. The only problem is that some games are not working namely Gears of War 3 , COD MW3 , Mass Effect 3. Whenever I insert the game this message pops up of unidentified game. i went to amazon.com for a memory unit. and it came up with hard drives. can i install a hard drive to this console? its only got 4gb. i looked on amazon.com and it looked like the memory unit plugged into the hdmi connection. they only gave 2 pictures and not 1 that showed the end all around it.

I am looking to buy an Xbox 360 console but I have a problem. Basically, I have an external hard drive but I don't know if I can use it for the console. Could I buy an Xbox 360 console with 4 GB storage and use this hard drive instead of a memory unit? Or should I just buy the Xbox 360 with 250 GB storage? I want to find out if I can use this hard drive because it has up to 500 GB storage and this also saves me at least 50. Please give your suggestions. I really appreciate this Thanks.
Question about an Xbox 360 console ban?
About a week ago, I turned on my xbox 360 to find out its banned. I am soo pissed. I know why they banned me, not because of mods or anything. I was using my friends black ops dlc, so I guess they are mad that I wasn't paying for it.. P Now my problem is my xbox says its a console ban and what not. I posted it on the xbox live banned console forum on their website. and they deleted the post. I had no profanity, I simply stated my gamertag and asked why I was banned. They sent me and email saying " Your forum post was deleted by a moderator.Subject Console ban...Posted to 16 My console was bannedReason During the course of a recent investigation, we have discovered that the console in question illegitimately accessed Xbox LIVE Marketplace downloadable content. Our investigation reveals that this access was intentional and not accidental, constituting a blatant violation of the Terms of Use for the service. Due to the nature of the investigation, we will not divulge additional information regarding the suspension. " My only problem is the console says its a " console ban" , and in the email it states its a " suspension" I thought a console ban is permanent and a suspension is temporary. Any ideas? Is it possible its only a temporary console ban? They said its still under investigation. . Its not that I was pissed, read the whole thing before you make a smart comment..
