Needs help setting up xbox network connection...?
okay i got an xbox recently, and wanted to play online. i already have a router, so i bought a wireless network adaptor. when i put in the disk no instructions came up, i stuck in the adaptor anyways and nothing happened no networks could be recognized. i made sure the firewalls on my internet were disabled i went to game today to ask and the assistant said to put the disk in, wait two seconds and then put the adaptor in. i tried this and it still doesn't work. any suggestions will be much appreciated thanks.
I have a xbox networking adapter. (the white one) recently when i put on my xbox the light stays red?
it cant be the adapter becuase my cousin tried to use his and it was red to, and my internet works fine on my computer, so i dont know whats wrong with it?and its not the ring of death. its the light oon the adapter on the back of the adapter. the white thing with the antenna and i already have xbox live and i have had it for a couple of years, it just recently started to do this

Ok, my friend's sleeping over and he has Xbox 360 live but not a network adapter he uses an ethernet cord. If I install my network adapter to his can I still install it to my Xbox 360 I just got?

I am trying to share my macbook internet connection with my Xbox. However, when I go to network settings all I see are two boxes that say " wired network" and " wireless network." Both just tell me to make sure I'm connected and I have no other options, but all the guides I've looked at tell me to go to configure network, which simply isn't there. How do I get this up?

Strange xbox network connection problem?
I have two xboxes xbox a, which is an old xbox that I got when they first came out, the disc tray doesn't open properly, and xbox b, which is a three month old arcade xbox, which hasn't had any problems up till now.So since the disc tray is a bit dodgy on xbox a, I have to play Left 4 Dead on xbox b since a doesn't load it properly. I was playing Left 4 Dead on it before and my internet randomly dropped on my xbox, but it was still working on my computer.I tried to connect back to the internet via my Xbox b but it wouldn't work. I tried the internet on Xbox a using exactly the same cables and things and it worked.Does anyone know why this is happening?
