I saved my game into the hard drive it was working perfectly for the past few weeks but now, when I insert the disc it says unrecognized. I read on Microsoft that if u have saved the game all it does is read the disc and then it plays off the hard drive but it won't let me What should I do?

my sister got a brand new xbox today, she also bought a play and charge kit. for some reason its not charging the joypad. the light isnt coming on. but its working as a wired controller its wireless was she suppost to fully charge it before use or something? we have unplugged and stuff but still no light or chargethere is no lights only the one on the joypad and the one on the xbox saying that i have a joypad on
